BUSINESS MODEL

Savox’s vertically integrated manufacturing model covers the entire value chain

  • PRODUCT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
  • MANUFACTURING OF COMPONENTS AND SUB-ASSEMBLIES
  • SYSTEM ASSEMBLY AND INTEGRATION
  • DISTRIBUTION THROUGH DIFFERENT CHANNELS TO END-USERS
  • LIFECYCLE SERVICES

The vertically integrated manufacturing model enables agile customisation of products to customer needs, comprehensive quality assurance, and minimised reaction and response time. Savox designs and develops new communication accessories and systems primarily in-house and engages in close collaboration with partners already during the product design and development phase.

Product sub-assemblies are manufactured through both in-house production and outsourcing. Assembly of end products and system integration is primarily performed at the company’s own facilities in Finland, supported by comprehensive product testing. Due to customer-specific needs, a limited portion of the end products is manufactured at the company’s own facilities in China. Savox sells its products through direct sales channels, OEMs, integrators, and distributors. A key part of Savox’s business model is the co-development processes carried out in collaboration with customers, which enable the development of its products to customer needs.
