Management team

Jerry Kettunen (male, born 1968) serves as Chief Executive Officer of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2013. He holds a Master of Science (Technology) degree from LUT University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Aalto University.

Jerry Kettunen has over two decades of international leadership experience in telecommunications, defence, and mission-critical communication solutions, with a strong focus on business development, operational execution, and growth in demanding environments.

Prior to joining Savox, Kettunen held senior leadership roles at Ascom, including Managing Director of Ascom Finland, and was a member of the management teams of both the Wireless Solutions and Security divisions. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Advisor at Kongsberg Defence, contributing to strategic business development in the defence sector.

He has also held Chief Executive Officer and Board positions in technology companies and contributes to the Finnish defence and technology ecosystem through various board roles.

Kettunen is a Finnish citizen.

Juha Järvi (male, born 1972) serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2026. He holds an MSc in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology.

Järvi has over two decades of international experience in finance leadership across technology and telecommunications, with a strong focus on financial management, business controlling and operational performance.

Prior to joining Savox, he was CFO at Virta and Head of Business Controlling at HMD. He previously held senior finance roles at Microsoft, including Finance Director, FP&A for Germany, and CFO for Mobile Devices in Europe and India. Earlier, he served as CFO for Nokia Eurasia and held multiple roles in controlling, FP&A, and supply chain at Nokia.

Järvi is a Finnish citizen.

Terhi Rantala-Örri (female, born 1970) serves as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2016. She has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2019 and as Deputy Chief Executive Officer since 2023. She holds a Diploma in Business and Administration from Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

Terhi Rantala-Örri has extensive experience in operations, supply chain management, and operational development in demanding environments, with a strong focus on efficiency and execution.

Prior to her current role, Rantala-Örri has held various positions within operations and administration at Savox Communications. Other previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Iqua, as well as supply-chain leadership roles at Elcoteq SE.

In addition, she serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Control Express Finland Oy.

Rantala-Örri is a Finnish citizen.

Pauli Soisalo (male, born 1962) serves as Senior Vice President, Sales of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2026. He holds a degree in Marketing from the University of São Paulo.

Pauli Soisalo has  over 30 years of experience in international sales, business development, and market expansion within defence, public safety, and mission-critical communication solutions.

Prior to his current role, Soisalo served as Senior Advisor, Latin America at Savox Communications and has held senior leadership roles focused on international business development, strategic partnerships, and market entry across Europe, Latin America, and other international markets.

In addition, he serves as Chief Executive Officer of Finnbras Consulting Oy, supporting Finnish and European companies in their international expansion.

Soisalo is a citizen of Finland and Brazil.

Mikael Simelius (male, born 1964) serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2023. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Hanken School of Economics.

Mikael Simelius has over three decades of experience in marketing, brand development, and corporate communications in international technology and industrial environments. His expertise spans strategic communications, brand positioning, and market development in global business contexts.

Prior to joining Savox, Simelius held roles at Stora Enso and Wärtsilä in international business and commercial functions, focusing on building and developing global brands and strengthening market positioning. He has also held leadership and board positions in technology and growth-oriented companies.

Simelius is a Finnish citizen.

Janne Pöllänen (male, born 1970) serves as Senior Vice President, Global Strategic Business Development and Strategic Accounts of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2022. He holds a Master’s degree in Pedagogy from the University of Jyväskylä.

Janne Pöllänen has over two decades of experience in international sales, business development, and strategic account management within defence, mission-critical communication solutions, related industries, and the mining industry.

Prior to his current role, Pöllänen held several leadership positions at Savox Communications across sales, marketing, business development, and key accounts. Before joining Savox, he held leadership roles in international business development and operations.

Pöllänen is a Finnish citizen.

Mikko Blomqvist (male, born 1979) serves as Vice President, Portfolio Management of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical Engineering.

Mikko Blomqvist has over 20 years of experience at Savox Communications, with a strong focus on product development and portfolio management in demanding environments.

Prior to his current role, Blomqvist has held various positions within product development and product management at Savox Communications.

Blomqvist is a Finnish citizen.

Jani Rutanen (male, born 1980) serves as Vice President, Product Management of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2021. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Lappeenranta University of Technology.

Jani Rutanen has over 20 years of experience in defence and critical industry business, with a strong focus on device and system solution development for demanding environments. His experience covers product management, research and development, and key account management.

Prior to his current role, Rutanen has held leadership positions in product management, R&D, and product lines, as well as having responsibility for large customer accounts.

Rutanen is a Finnish citizen.

Jukka Tuominen (male, born 1962) serves as HR Manager of Savox Communications and has been a member of the Management Team since 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University.

Jukka Tuominen has extensive experience in human resources management and leadership, with a career spanning more than two decades in demanding business environments.

Prior to joining Savox, Tuominen held responsible management and HR roles at Carlson Oy and MPY Palvelut Oy. He joined Savox Communications since 2017.

Tuominen is a Finnish citizen.
